Hi, I am Olimbek
I am a software engineer based in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. I build web applications for product teams abroad — currently through the Toptal network, which accepts roughly the top 3% of applicants.
Before that I spent years on Upwork, where I passed $100K in earnings as a top-rated freelancer, working with startups and agencies in the US, Europe and the Gulf. That work taught me as much about communication and scoping as it did about code.
Now I split my week between client engineering, two courses I teach, and writing here. Occasionally I speak at IT schools and meetups, which keeps my explanations honest.
